Sonny had his first haircut today, I've posted before and after pics. This cat doesn't really enjoy hair brushing time like my previous long haired cats have. I've literally had to put on gloves to even be able to attempt to brush him because he thinks I'm playing and really starts digging his teeth into my hands. As soon as his hair started to get matted, it didn't take long for it to get out of control. We decided to just have his whole body shaved so we wouldn't have to worry about it for awhile...plus we think he may be going outside real soon. Reagan got a good kick out of his "new look" along with Kevin who was pretty much on the floor laughing.
OH DEAR. I started dying laughing when I saw this picture. POOR Kitty... Reminds me of how our cat used to look when we got him shaved, but he loved it for the summer and he didn't get so hot. Remember, you're not supposed to laugh at them because they can sense you are making fun of them! (Remind Kevin of that...) haha, I can just see him laughing at that poor cat. I think he looks handsome!
