Kevin and I worked hard over the weekend to do a little landscaping. We want to do a big project in the center drive and up around the house but we’re saving that for next Spring. My mom gave me a bunch of transplants so we planted a lot of perennials around this tree that is in our side/back yard next to the woods. We have a rose bush, purple coneflowers, peonies (which don’t look so good right now), snowball bushes, rose of sharon’s, and something that is yellow and spreads (can’t remember the name of it). Then I planted a bunch of Hostas around another set of trees.
When our pond was dug, we found this huge rock in the bottom. Works perfect for our landscape and hopefully we’ll get it engraved sometime. There’s really too many things in this garden so when we get something else started, I’m going to move some of it out.
