So my friend Jessica finally got me convinced to start a blog. I love reading hers and Stephanie's but I don't expect to be as on top of things as they are. Lots of things going on right now with us. I just started my new job last week as Director of Nursing at the nursing home in Greenup. Off the a rough start but I'm starting to get my feet wet. I do enjoy having an office but it still needs a lot of TLC to get it personalized.

We've been very busy working on the chicken coup. Yes, that's right...we have chickens. Four weeks ago we bought 8 little baby chicks. Since then, we've been preparing the outdoor coop getting it painted, filling it with nesting boxes, and putting up a fence. The whole thing ended up being a lot bigger than we originally planned. The chickens aren't as cute as they once were but Reagan absolutely loves her "chickies" and we're looking forward to farm fresh eggs.
